About the job
We're seeking a reliable and energetic sitter to provide regular weekend and Friday evening care for our two boys (ages 5 and 9). The ideal candidate will be creative, patient, and experienced in creating engaging activities for elementary school-aged kids. Example Schedule: - Fridays: 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. - Saturdays: 1:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. - Sundays: 1:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. (We can be flexible on hours/days) Primary Responsibilities: 1. Supervising and engaging children in age-appropriate activities 2. Planning and leading indoor activities such as: - Arts and crafts projects - Board games and puzzles - Imaginative play 3. Organizing outdoor activities like: - Backyard games -Sports activities (catch, etc.) 4. Preparing and serving snacks 5. Supervising mealtimes Optional: 6. Light housekeeping duties may be available for interested candidates.
