Part-Time Child Care Provider For 8-Year-Old

We are seeking a compassionate & consistent childcare provider for our 8-y-o. Schedule: Flexible, 6-8ish hrs/week, on weekday afternoons. Our child is bright, curious, and enjoys learning, but thrives best in an environment with low demands and clear, supportive communication. Responsibilities: Supervise & support homeschool activities & learning experiences. Use declarative language to guide & encourage child. Prepare simple snacks as needed. Engage in outdoor activities like short walks or visits to the local library. Work comfortably with the parent at home during care hours. Qualifications: Familiarity with using declarative language & a low-demand approach to support children with anxiety and ASD. Patience, empathy, & the ability to create a calm, predictable environment. Comfortable working with an LGBTQ+ family.
