My daughter is 5 years old and has autism. Shes very active and energetic, and can sometimes scream out of frustration when shes overwhelmed. She loves going to the park and being outdoors. Snacks are kept to a minimum, and naps can be a bit unpredictable depending on how active her day is. Im looking for someone who is patient, understanding, and has experience working with autistic childrenespecially those who are hyperactive. Its important to me that the caregiver can stay calm and supportive, and knows how to redirect and manage behaviors in a positive way.
