About the job
Looking for help with my son after school, typically Monday-Thursday, 3pm-6pm, with option for evening hours or the occasional full day or half day when school is off. Our 5-year-old is a sunny, happy little boy who loves music and loves to laugh. Looking for someone who has experience caring for special needs kids, he has a speech delay which requires patience, and epilepsy, which requires you to be able to stay calm in stressful situations and follow seizure action plan instructions. Responsibilities would include: picking him up from school at 3:30, preparing snack, giving medicine and vitamins, playing indoors or at nearby parks/playgrounds, tidying up toys. Light cleaning, like loading/unloading dishwasher and doing his laundry would also be appreciated.
