About the job
The is job requires setting up a classroom for daily activities and supporting the teacher throughout the morning. The sub would always be pared with an experienced teacher. This position requires supervision of preschool aged children, diapering and possible lifting of children up to 35 pounds. The teacher would lead activities, but the substitute/assistant should also participate and help students to engage appropriately. Cleaning up at the end of class is also required. This job requires a person to be available on a flexible, unpredictable schedule, which can be favorable to the applicant. You would be called in the morning between 6am-7 a.m. or possibly the night before. The flexibility is a bonus, but you can earn cash when you're free.
