About the job
We're a family of 4 with two working parents and one child in daycare. We're looking for a full-time nanny for our infant for approximately one year. The schedule is 6 a.m. to 2pm, Monday to Friday, in our home in Abington/Jenkintown. While the baby is napping, there would be some light housework (empty dishwasher, fold laundry, light cleaning). We are looking for someone who meets the following criteria: - Does not smoke or smell of smoke - Has a car and can transport themselves to/from our home - Has all standard vaccinations, including recent TDAP and annual flu and covid shots - Will limit use of phone while working - Knows how to care for babies - Loves young children - Open-minded, empathetic and willing to learn - Is committed to Gentle Parenting - Will speak to and play with the baby throughout each day
