The children are extremely self-sufficient. Both ages mentioned are at home learners, the youngest requires guidance, reminders and encouragement. We have a 2-year-old boxer who would require walks etc. Light cooking for lunches, breakfast reminders, very rarely dinner prep. Light housework appreciated but never expected (swapping laundry, empty/reload dishwasher etc.). They love horses, outdoors, hunting, building legos, science experiments and also have couch dog days.
