Assistant Teacher

Full-time Assistant Teacher position, to work with infants and toddlers. Hours are 8 a.m. - 4 pm, but may include additional after-school hours. Responsibilities and Duties: -Meet DHS educational requirements and be willing to continue with PA STARS -professional development for continuous quality improvement. -Assist with long and short range activities in accordance with curriculum objectives, developmentally appropriate practice, and program philosophy -Meet emotional, social, physical and cognitive needs of each child -Arrange a classroom environment in accordance with program goals: ITERS/ECERS -Maintain a safe and healthy environment with proper health and sanitation practices -Maintain open daily communication with parents
