About the job
We're looking for a kind and reliable mother's helper to assist my wife, who is a stay-at-home mom, with our two young children: a2-year-old girl and an 11-month-old boy. The job would involve supervising and playing with the kids while they're awake, handling diaper changes and other basic childcare tasks, and helping with light household chores like washing dishes or tidying up if one or both are napping. We're looking for someone with experience caring for infants and toddlers who is responsible, patient, and engaging. Spanish is a plus, but English fluency is required. To start, we're looking for someone available once a week, ideally around noon, though we can be flexible on timing. We're located in SE Salem near Cordon Road. We have a dog named Darcy, who is an energetic, medium-sized mutt.
