Full time nanny position available starting in March but family can take someone as soon as a good fit is found and ramp up while mom returns from maternity leave. The family is in SW Portland and have two girls, a baby girl born in October and her older sister who is 3. The nanny's schedule will be Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The nanny will be primarily responsible for infant care throughout the day. The nanny should be able to lead childcare related housekeeping such as laundry, meal prep, and dishes, room and kitchen cleaning, etc. No driving is required but park is within walking distance of home so neighborhood walks with the baby would be possible. The ideal nanny will be mature, an experienced childcare provider, a natural helper, hyper aware of child and household hygiene and safety, and a collaborative partner to both the children and parents. The family recently moved back from Japan after working there for a few years and had a nanny there. They are an international family, and both English and French are spoken in the home. Mom and dad work full time away from home and have demanding work schedules. This is an ideally long term position for a good fit.
