Full-time nanny position available starting this September for a family in SW Portland with a 16-month-old baby boy. The nanny's schedule will be Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The family is transitioning from Montessori school to an in home nanny due to excessive illnesses in school. The nanny will be responsible for managing the boy's routines and providing an environment for him that includes some structure and outings, plenty of outside time, and follows a Montessori flow that fosters independence and creativity. The ideal nanny will have a passion for early childhood education and development. The nanny will also assist with tidying up after meals and play and prepping simple meals. The family values fresh whole foods and will partner with their nanny to ensure there are plenty of healthy options available. They are also outdoor enthusiasts who value time for their kiddo and nanny outside. This is an ideally 1. 5 to 2 year placement for a great fit.
