My partner (their mother) and I have work schedules that overlap 2-3 days a week from about 530 p.m. until whenever I get back from the road which is usually between 8-10 p.m. So, we need someone to care for our girls for about 4-6 hours, 2-3 days a week. Our toddler is 100% potty trained, and we always have food prepped for her and the baby so cooking wouldn't be necessary. They are 3 years old and 7 months so obviously they need constant supervision/attention.
