One child is high functioning autistic. They have some sound sensitivity and need a little extra help managing emotions sometimes and do best with attentive care. This looks like occasional tantrums and not anything violent. They love movies, music, and re-inacting favorite cartoon episodes, they love painting and playing video games. My older child loves graphic novels, doing crafts, and playing games. They are great siblings and enjoy being together. An ideal day would be spending some time outside, going on regular adventures (a couple a week during summer), practice reading & writing for my younger, and a fun activity (games, crafts, baking, easy science experiment etc.).
