Afternoon Childcare Teacher Wanted - located in Beaverton, OR

Kids Incorporated Learning Center in Beaverton (18425 NW Walker Rd. Beaverton, OR 97006) is looking for a qualified teacher to fill a Closing Teacher position. We are ideally looking for one teacher to fill a 12:30-6:30 schedule with the possibility of a 10:00-6:30 position if desired. Other schedule options may be available. This position will likely be with an older age group of children including 4-5-year-olds or after school children. If your desire is to work primarily with a younger age group, we may be able to accommodate that. Pay is dependent on experience but pay differentials can be included for working a closing shift, being bilingual (English and Spanish), being at least a step 7 in the registry, and ability and willingness to do a drive the van to pick up children from school. In order to qualify as a driver, you would need to have a clean driving record (Minor incidents MAY not disqualify you. We will be able to check very quickly to see if you are qualified.) and you must be comfortable driving a large vehicle. Applicants for this position should have a minimum of one year experience with a school age, preschool age, toddler age, or infant age group in a licensed childcare center OR qualifying training/education. ALL POSITIONS REQUIRE you to be current in the Oregon Central Background Registry (https://www.oregon.gov/delc/providers/pages/cbr.aspx). You must have a registry number prior to completing the interview process. Teachers will need the following certifications: Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse and Neglect, Introduction to Childcare Health and Safety, Safe Sleep for Oregon's Infants, Prevention is Better than Treatment, Foundations for Learning, have a valid Oregon Food Handler's card, and have a qualifying Pediatric and Adult CPR/First aid Certification.
