We are looking for candidates for our Before and After School Program in the Beaverton School District! Expect To: Work with school-aged children, students grades K-5 in a school setting. Create a welcoming space for students to have a smooth transition from school to after school. Support and implement KinderCare Education Champions curriculum. Facilitate play-based learning and build positive and supportive connections with children and their families. Qualifications: Current CPR/First Aid certification or willing to obtain Current Central Background Registry enrollment or willing to obtain Current Food Handlers License or willing to obtain What You'll Do: Create a safe and nurturing environment for students where children can learn and play in an after school setting. Implement Champions curriculum in a way that is consistent while considering the unique needs of every child. Partner and communicate with parents with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children.\ Cultivate positive relationships with families, schools, teachers, and community partners.\ Follow and maintain coronavirus health and safety protocol.
