Transportation RequiredMy husband and I are Paramedic-RNs that work primarily 911 EMS, night shifts. We have a rotating schedule which is already lined up for the year and is predictable. We need someone to watch after our 11 and 9-year-old from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on the days that we and our 17-year-old son work, typically 2 days a week. We will need someone to cook them dinner, ensure they have been instructed to shower as well as get into bed at bed time. We have other family at the residence (my father and his wife) but they are business owners and usually coming and going during evening hours. We do not force religion on our children. If you practice religion and need time to do so while caring for our children, please do not ask or force them to participate. Corporal punishment is not allowed in our home and we avoid unnecessary yelling/outbursts Creativity projects, art, graphic design, video games. My youngest son is moderate autistic. He is verbal and has no deficits with his ADLs outside of disliking showers and brushing teeth. My daughter is a pre-teen and struggling with mild depression. She is difficult to get out of her room as well as difficult to get her to take showers and brush teeth. They both have diagnosed insomnia and per their doctor take melatonin in the evenings but they will still have trouble with bedtime. Patience and understanding. Parking yes, "public transit" no. 3 outdoor cats, 1 indoor cat. 3 dogs that are intermittently outside but in the evenings the elderly dog is in her room. The small dogs belong to my father and he has them in his room at night.
