About the job
I am needing help with my two children; they are 14 and 11 (care is primarily needed for my 11yo). The job would entail picking them up from school, taking them to after-school activities, and helping them structure their time at home to ensure school work and chores are completed. This is a part-time position that would likely run from 3pm-5 p.m. M, W, Th. My children are incredibly smart. They enjoy art, music, reading, writing, watching documentaries, and sharing their interests with others. The ideal person would need to be, at minimum, comfortable with connecting with them on a conversational level in an open-minded way (They have very strong beliefs and ideas}. My son does struggle with authority, so being familiar with assertive, non-authoritative boundary setting would be ideal.
