Their sweet daughter is all smiles and giggles, and she just discovered her hands! Mom and Dad are actively working on tummy time and encouraging her to roll over, with her Lovevery gym being a favorite. She sleeps in her crib at night and bassinet or crib during the day in her Zipadee-zip sleep sack. Mom and Dad take a gentle yet structured approach, ensuring she follows a consistent feeding and sleeping schedule while remaining flexible to her needs. They pay close attention to her wake windows, creating a rhythm that supports her development without being overly rigid. With their dual-physician lifestyle, Mom and Dad are looking for a dependable and adaptable nanny with a solid background in infant care who understands the occasional flexibility their schedules require. Their ideal candidate is detail-oriented and emotionally attuned to their child's needs. Tech-savviness is a must, as they use Huckleberry to track their daughter's feeding and naps. They are seeking a loving, compassionate caregiver who prioritizes a nurturing environment. A background in child development or education would be a wonderful bonus, allowing for engaging, age-appropriate, and educational activities. Experience with homemade baby food (or a willingness to research and learn) will be appreciated when their little one transitions to solids. This individual's responsibilities will include all child-related tasks including providing reliable care, providing guidance around developmental milestones, preparing and sterilizing bottles, safety handling and storing breast milk, doing baby laundry, keeping the nursery clean and organized, keeping a detailed journal of the baby's eating, sleeping, and diapering habits, and establishing healthy routines for sleep and feeding. Additionally, assistance with light housekeeping will be required. Qualifications 3 years of professional childcare experience Experience working with infants High school diploma At least 21 years of age Valid driver's license Reliable and insured vehicle Authorized to work in the U.S. Ability to pass a background check Flexible and adaptable Schedule The schedule is full-time, guaranteeing 45 hours per week. The general schedule will fall on Monday from 7:30 am to 2:00 pm, and Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, and Wednesday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. Flexibility is crucial as once a month Mom may need to work until 5:00 pm on Mondays, and a few days a month may have to come in at 7 am. Compensation The family is offering $25-26/hour based upon 45 guaranteed hours per week, which equates to $1,188-$1,235/week, and an anticipated annual base income of $61K-$64k+/year. This position is paid legally, on a W-2, subject to regular deductions and withholdings as required by law. Benefits The family is providing a monthly healthcare stipend of $200, 10 days of paid time off, paid holidays, 5 personal days, and mileage reimbursement at the IRS rate for on-the-job travel.
