Description: A warm and lively family is searching for a compassionate and highly organized infant-savvy nanny to provide nurturing care for their delightful 3-month-old son. This little one thrives with one-on-one interaction. He's mastering tummy time, practicing his rolls, and perfecting his bubble-blowing skills. His crinkle toys bring him joy and he is currently breastfed and also bottle-fed. As first-time parents, they are warm and hands-on, cherishing quality time together as a family. They love cooking and dining without the distraction of phones, staying mindful of screen time to avoid raising a screen-dependent child. Their ideal candidate should also embrace this focus, keeping phones aside and fully engaging with their child. Health-conscious, they prioritize whole foods and home-cooked meals, aiming to instill these values in their child. Mom works from home in a separate office space. With extensive experience caring for infants and newborns, the ideal candidate will offer thoughtful recommendations for the baby's needs and proactively address any factors that may impact the baby's well-being. Strong knowledge of developmental milestones is essential, as the family values an attentive approach that supports their child in meeting key markers with encouragement and care. They envision an engaging caregiver who will enrich their child's early experiences through purpose-driven activities and short, enjoyable walks. A "see a need, fill a need" mindset is key, along with a respectful approach that seamlessly integrates support for the family. The right candidate will bring a blend of organization, proactivity, and a strong sense of initiative to create a nurturing, well-rounded environment for their little one. This individual's responsibilities will include all child-related tasks including providing reliable care, providing guidance around developmental milestones, preparing and sterilizing bottles, doing baby laundry, keeping the nursery clean and organized, keeping a detailed journal of the baby's eating, sleeping, and diapering habits, and establishing healthy routines for sleep and feeding. Additionally, assistance with light housekeeping will be required. Qualifications Certified NCS or extensive experience with newborns and infants 3 years of professional childcare experience Professional and practical experience in all facets of caring for newborns/infants, including but not limited to preparing, cleaning, and sanitizing bottles, feeding, bathing, dressing, and changing diapers Experience and knowledge with sleep training, setting up routines, taking a daily journal log, feeding routines, and developmental milestones High school diploma At least 21 years of age Authorized to work in the U.S. Able to pass a background check Clean driving record Valid drivers license Schedule Part-time, guaranteeing up to 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 9 am to 4 pm. Compensation The family is offering $30-$35/hr based on up to 35 hours per week which equates to $1,050- $1,225/week, and an anticipated annual base income of up to $63K+/year. This position is paid legally, on a W-2, subject to regular deductions and withholdings as required by law. Benefits The family is providing a $200 monthly healthcare stipend, 10 days of paid vacation, 5 paid sick days, paid major holidays, and mileage reimbursement at the IRS rate for on-the-job travel.
