The Nanny Connection, a local child care agency, is assisting a family seeking a long-term nanny to help care primarily for their newborn daughter but also assist with their three school-aged children as needed. They are looking for a caring and attentive nanny who has newborn experience, can engage with other children, support their playful spirit, and manage light housekeeping tasks as needed. This family feels blessed with their wonderful children and hopes to find someone who shares their values and energy. Child(ren): 4 children ages 10, 6, 4 and 3 months at job start. Older 2 are in school full day, 4 yr old in preschool half day Desired experience/qualities: Seeking a flexible, highly engaging nanny with experience caring for children infant through school age who recognizes the importance of facilitating activities to promote development. Prefer a nanny who would like to grow with the family for years to come. Responsibilities: All aspects of child care including bottle/meal prep, facilitating routine, indoor and outdoor developmental activities, etc. Household responsibilities include bottle/meal clean up, children's laundry, light pick up, etc. Other adult in the home: Mom primarily works from home, will be in the office one day/wk Pets: 1 dog Start date: late October/early November Schedule: Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri within the parameters of 8:30 a.m. - 4pm, with some flexibility. Offered rate: $23-$25/hr before taxes. Guaranteed 30 hours per week. 2 weeks paid vacation taken simultaneously with family.
