About the job
Caregiver needed for two school-age children. A is a typical 10-year-old girl, and J is a kindergarten-age boy with severe autism. Care is needed in the morning from 7:45 a.m. until 1:00pm, prepping breakfast and lunch, helping J get dressed, taking both to school. Taking J to speech therapy, and school in afternoon. After a break, pick up kids starting at 3:45, working until 6:00 p.m. Will consider splitting the position with two people so if you are interested in one time frame or the other, please reach out. Experience with special needs is a must. J is non-verbal and not potty trained - working on that now. Must be high energy, fun, and very responsible. Position will be full day in the summer.
