The Nanny Connection, a local child care agency, is assisting a dual physician family of five seeking a dependable nanny who is enthusiastic about engaging with the children through imaginative play and is looking to become part of the family for years. The oldest child, a kindergartner, loves reading books and spending time outside, always eager to learn about everything she encounters. The middle child has a strong passion for arts and crafts and enjoys spending time with her siblings, often "helping" with her baby brother. The baby is easy-going and delights in tummy time, bringing happiness to everyone around him. The family is looking for someone who will connect with the kids, encourage their creativity, and provide a supportive presence in their everyday activities. Children: 5, 3 and 4 mos (5 yr old full day school, 3 yr old preschool 3 days/wk) Desired experience/qualities: Seeking a nanny with strong infant experience, as well as toddler and school ager experience, who is dependable and flexible. A nanny that loves to get down and play with the children with activities such as imaginary play and arts and crafts. Responsibilities: All aspects of child care including developmentally appropriate activities, bottles, snack/meal prep, children's laundry, some transportation, light housekeeping, etc. Other adult in the home: None Pets: 1 dog Start date: ASAP Schedule: Wed - Fri 7:30/8 - 5/5:30, with very limited hours on occasional Mon & Tues, guaranteed 30 hrs/wk. Offered rate: $26 - $28/hr, with 40 hrs paid time off and paid major holidays.
