We are seeking a compassionate, experienced, and reliable full-time nanny to care for our two daughters, aged 4 years and 20 months. Our youngest daughter has a neurological condition that involves delayed development and epilepsy, so we are looking for someone with a background in caring for children with special needs or a willingness to learn and adapt.
Responsibilities:
Provide attentive and loving care for both children
Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities to stimulate development
Manage daily routines, including feeding, bathing, dressing, and naps
Monitor and support developmental milestones and needs
Prepare healthy meals and snacks
Maintain a safe and clean environment
Assist with light housekeeping related to the children (e. g., laundry, tidying up play areas)
Transport the children to and from activities as needed
Communicate regularly with parents about the children's progress and any concerns
Requirements:
Prior experience as a nanny or in a childcare setting
Experience with or willingness to learn about caring for children with special needs
Knowledge of first aid and CPR; additional training in epilepsy care is a plus
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Non-smoker
Excellent communication skills
Patience, empathy, and a nurturing attitude
Preferred Qualifications:
Early childhood education or similar background
Training in special needs care, particularly neurological conditions
Flexibility with scheduling and occasional availability for evenings or weekends
