We are looking for a great companion for a 14-year-old girl. My daughter has been diagnosed with Autism and T1D. She does not have behaviors and is very shy. Why does my 14-year-old need a companion? She needs to be prompted to care for basic hygiene and/or chores. unless you jointly choose to have an outing, you probably wont even see her but for one insulin shot a day. (She was able to stay home alone until the diabetes diagnosis). importantly, she needs help making diabetic safe choices. Any companion who accepts this job needs to have the ability to give an insulin shot ( I will teach you or pay for you to have training). Our companion will work several days a week (negotiable) for 1-4 hours a day. (Again negotiable). no smoking who is comfortable with pets and who is CPR certified. Questions? Please ask!
