The Nanny Connection, a local child care agency, is assisting a warm and active family seeking a nurturing nanny to care for their 3-month-old baby for the next 6-7 months, until he transitions into daycare. The family, who follow a vegetarian lifestyle and enjoy spending time outdoors, values someone who is not only loving and attentive but also eager to engage the baby in activities that support his growth and development. They are looking for a nanny who enjoys being interactive, whether it's through play, walks, or other enriching activities that foster learning. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about helping the baby reach important developmental milestones while providing a caring and safe environment. Children: 1 infant, 3 mos at job start Desired experience/qualities: Seeking a nanny with infant experience that truly loves being interactive with the baby, focusing on developmental milestones. Family requires flu and Tdap vaccines. Responsibilities: All aspects of child care including stimulating activities, bottle prep/clean up, light household pickup as related to the baby, and children's laundry. Other adult in the home: None Pets: 1 senior dog Start date: early May through December Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30a-4p, guaranteed 40 hrs/wk. Offered rate: $25-$27/hr with 1 week paid vacation, 2 sick days and paid holidays Please note: In addition to our standard screening, this position comes with a drug screen and nanny skills assessment.
