The Nanny Connection, a local childcare agency, is assisting a dedicated dual-physician family who recently welcomed a baby boy in August seeking a nurturing nanny to join their family long-term. They love exploring their community through walks, visits to museums, botanical gardens, and other enriching activities and would like the nanny to do the same. They are looking for a nanny with several years of experience working with children of all ages, who can engage and grow with their little one as he develops. Child(ren): 4 mo old at job start Desired experience/qualities: Seeking a dependable, highly engaging nanny with experience caring for children of all ages who values communication and recognizes the importance of facilitating activities to promote development. The family loves to get out and about, so a nanny who will take him to various community activities is important. Prefer a nanny who would like to grow with the family for years to come. Responsibilities: All aspects of child care including bottle/meal prep, facilitating routine, indoor and outdoor developmental activities, etc. Household responsibilities include light household pick up and being the point person for any contractors, services, etc . Other adult in the home: Mom works from home as needed Pets: 1 dog Start date: late December Schedule: Monday-Friday within the parameters of 7 a.m. - 5 or 6 p.m. Most weeks are 35-40 hours, with some weeks slightly over. Schedule is known approximately 1 month in advance. Very occasional weekend days and rare holidays may be needed when both parents are on call. Offered rate: $25-$27 before taxes. Guaranteed 40 hours per week, with overtime, paid vacation, sick days and some major holidays. Please Note: In addition to our standard screening this position also requires a drug test and nanny skills assessment.
