Position Overview: Calvary Academy Childcare and Preschool, a 5-Star Gold Award center, is seeking a compassionate and dependable Lead Toddler Teacher to provide nurturing care for toddlers in a safe, loving, and faith-inspired environment. This full-time role is ideal for someone passionate about fostering growth and making a meaningful impact on the lives of toddlers and their families. Key Responsibilities: Provide attentive, loving care to toddlers, including diapering, assisting with potty training, and maintaining hygiene. Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans that support learning, creativity, and Christian values. Encourage active participation through play, songs, stories, and hands-on activities to inspire curiosity and cognitive development. Foster social, emotional, and physical development through structured and unstructured activities. Ensure a safe, positive, and welcoming classroom environment by providing attentive supervision and maintaining an organized space. Support daily routines, including meals, rest time, and transitions, ensuring smooth and consistent schedules. Build strong, supportive relationships with staff and parents, sharing updates in person and through the Procare app (training provided). Foster independence in toddlers by promoting self-help skills, such as feeding, cleaning up, and dressing. Be comfortable working at child level and able to lift up to 30 pounds as part of daily tasks.
