The Nanny Connection, a local child care agency, is assisting a busy dual-physician family seeking a dedicated, reliable nanny to care for their newborn. With both parents committed to their careers, they are looking for someone who can provide attentive, nurturing care for their little one. The family enjoys engaging in child-centered activities and values time spent together, including crafts, puzzles, and educational classes. While their 4-year-old will be in daycare for most of the day, she loves spending time with friends and exploring creative activities. The ideal nanny will be a compassionate, reliable individual who can adapt to this dynamic family environment. Children: 4 yr old and 3 mo old at job start (4 yr old in FT daycare) Desired experience/qualities: Seeking a nanny that is dependable, flexible and communicates effectively. Nanny is to have experience caring for infants and preschoolers. Responsibilities: All aspects of childcare including developmentally appropriate activities, meals, children's laundry and family linens, etc. Other adult in the home: Occasionally Pets: 1 dog Start date: mid-June Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. Offered rate: $25 - $27/hr. Guaranteed 45 hrs/wk with 2 weeks paid vacation (one coinciding with family), sick days and paid major holidays. Please note: In addition to our standard screening, this position comes with a drug screen and nanny skills assessment.
