My kids will literally sit and watch TV all day, or my 12-year-old will be on her cell phone. But they will do fun things when asked. They are pretty self sufficient kiddos and can make themselves lunch. My 12-year-old loves Harry potter and my son loves Legos. They are just a bit to young and immature to keep them home alone.
