We are seeking a compassionate and patient Respite Worker to provide one-on-one care and supervision for a 6-year-old boy with autism spectrum disorder and global developmental delays. The ideal candidate will support in maintaining a safe and engaging environment while helping with daily activities and personal care. This position will provide much-needed respite for childs parents while ensuring his well-being and engagement in meaningful activities. Key Responsibilities Provide constant supervision (1:1) to ensure safety at all times. Assist with activities of daily living - including toileting, dressing, and hygiene. Support child in engaging in recreational activities Monitor and manage behaviors associated with sensory needs. Encourage and support child in his communication efforts, reinforcing positive interactions.
