We are looking for a babysitter to take care of our 6-month-old girl. I work from home (office in basement) and am busy with meetings during the day, but available if needed/will come upstairs for check-ins. Wednesdays and Fridays are 100% needed. Possibly a Thursday here and there if available, but not a requirement at all (can discuss/explain). I am fully covered on Mondays and Tuesdays (grandma) but we can also discuss if I would ever need coverage whether you would be interested in that as well. We also have a 2. 5-year-old mini golden doodle (30 lbs). He is very loving and naps a lot, but also has lots of energy and loves to play. I can take him out between meetings, but you are more than welcome to walk him or let him go in the backyard. Wake windows - about 2 or 3 hours each and includes feeding (formula and purées), changing diapers, light playtime/tummy time, watching Sesame Street, and cuddles. She is a very happy baby and you will enjoy every minute spent with her! Naps - 2 or 3 per day, anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours each. During this you are free to relax/watch tv/doom scroll/play with the dog - you will have the whole living room to yourself. Food - we can keep the kitchen supplied with any snacks/drinks you like and discuss what lunch time looks like (if you want to cook, pack food, run out and grab something nearby, etc.) We will work it out. I don't want you to feel like you ever have to skip lunch or pay the insane prices on delivery food! Since there is no housekeeping/chores involved, we feel that $20/hr cash is a fair start. We are open to discussing this rate/adding chores for higher pay/etc. We do not want to lose out on a great sitter because of a dispute over payment. We would definitely like to do a trial run and see how things go before committing, and only move forward if both parties feel comfortable. We look forward to speaking with you!
