Hi there! i'm a mom to a beautiful 2 and a half year old, looking for a consistent sitter multiple days a week. We love our current sitter but she is going elsewhere for a college program. We are looking for someone who is professional, loving, caring and has an education background to help teach our2-year-old basics of numbers and letters as she is very intelligent and eager to learn. my work schedule is flexible and I can make my own hours so I'm willing to work with you on the hours, but I expect a minimum of 3 to 4 days a week. Having your own vehicle is important as well as a clean driving record. Our current sitter always takes our toddler out to do fun activities, library trips, toddler classes, playgrounds etc. we usually do breakfast together but lunch and (if it is a longer day) dinner we expect meal prep for our little one. there isn't much housework around, I personally take care of it and we also have a housekeeper 1x a week. I would just expect for her things to be kept as neatly as possible on the days that you are able to. I believe that in order for us to trust you and give the responsibility of our daughter we have to also have to get along, so I'm looking for someone with a positive attitude and energy because that is very important when it comes to kids. In the beginning, there would be a paid training period where you would shadow our current babysitter to learn the ropes! I would like for it to be the smoothest transition possible for her as it is not easy on kids to change caregivers. if this sounds like something you're interested in, I would love to hear from you!
