Program Development and Management Assist in planning and implementing educational, recreational, and social activities that meet the needs of children in Pre-K through 5th grade. Coordinate the purchasing of supplies and snacks aligned with planned activities, ensuring adherence to budget guidelines. Provide children with appropriate supervision at all times. Serve as Acting Director in the Program Director's absence. Team Collaboration and Leadership Support the Program Director in fostering a team-oriented environment among staff. Develop a sense of community and inclusion among children. Act as a role model and effective team member while serving as a leader for staff and children. Family and Community Engagement Assist in fostering clear communication and partnerships with parents. Develop relationships with school faculty to support the educational needs of children. Compliance and Training Follow New York State OCFS regulations and program guidelines for group and individual children. Complete at least 15 hours of OCFS-required training annually. Fulfill the OCFS-required 15-hour Director Training. Other Responsibilities Assist with various managerial tasks as assigned by the Program Director.
