About the job
I am looking for someone who is kind, fun and nurturing to care for my 2 children in my home in Stony Brook, NY. My children are ages 1 and 3. The ideal candidate has expirence with children in this age range. I would prefer someone who could help out with light housekeeping and meal prep, has their own car, doesn't smoke, and is comfortable with pets (25 lb dog). Preference given to someone who is CPR certified and who has a college degree related to education/child development. I would love someone who thinks of fun activities to do with the kids, plays with them, keeps them engaged and builds their confidence. I need childcare 3 days per week. Thursdays and Fridays are a must. Mondays would be ideal as the 3rd day, but am flexible on that. I may need occasional extra days (sometimes Saturdays) if you are available. Long term position.
