About the job
Seeking a caregiver for our 2 children for after school. We have a 5-year-old daughter with cerebral palsy and a typical 3-year-old son. We need assistance after school from approx. 1:00-6:00 3 to 4 days a week. (flexible) Opportunity for more hours during school breaks, date nights, and occasional weekends. Duties include getting our daughter off the bus, prepping food for the children, cleaning up after children only (dishes/toys, no laundry expected), toileting and feeding for our special needs child as well as wheelchair transfers. (She can walk while holding hands or with walker but needs supervision.) This is a long-term position. We would love someone who wants to be integrated into our family as we will need this help for the foreseeable future. Great for someone studying PT, OT, speech, nursing, or Spec. Education.
