Looking for a caring, engaging, and responsible nanny/caretaker for my 3-year-old son. He will be in school part of the day, so I am looking for someone to handle pick up and spend the after/early evening with him. His school schedule is quite flexible throughout the fall, so there may be days where the schedule is different (roughly 10am-6pm) vs our typical needs (roughly 1pm-7:30pm). My son also has underlying medical conditions that can require extra attention if he is under the weather, so the candidate must be especially tuned in responsive to his behavior and overall mood. That said, our family requires someone who is generally respectful regarding illness and wellness, especially during cold and flu season. While the job is primarily playing with and enjoying time with my son, we would love help with light house responsibilities such as throwing in a load of laundry if time permits or helping to load/unload the dishwasher. We love cooking, enjoying time outside at the park and the beach, music, and exploring Long Island. We appreciate honesty and transparency, joy, and a positive attitude. My son absolutely loves superheroes and playing with his superhero toys. He spends a lot of time at the park and the library with his friends and he loves the beach too. Diversifying his diet, bath time. Incredibly attentive, CPR certified, engaging and playful, flexible, a willingness to learn and grow with our family. We have a parking spot and we live close to a major highway. We have two small shih tzus, ages 14 and 10. They are very easygoing and go to the bathroom in our yard rather than walks. They get along well with our son and he enjoys giving them treats throughout the day.
