Parents:
The children's father is a stay-at-home dad who is fully involved in their upbringing but recognizes the need for additional support. The family does not have local extended family or other caregivers, so this role is crucial in ensuring the children's well-being and routine stability.
Key Responsibilities:

Occasionally assist in the mornings for doctor's appointments or when additional help is needed.
Be flexible to stay later on occasion if required, with notice.
Household Support:
Assist with light household tasks related to the children, such as preparing meals, tidying up play areas, and organizing their belongings.
Encourage the children to participate in household chores in a way that is supportive of their developmental needs.
Safety & Routine:
Maintain a safe and structured environment, ensuring the children's well-being at all times.
Help the children navigate their routines, providing patient and consistent guidance, especially when they face challenges with boundaries or instructions.
What We're Looking For:
Experience: Previous experience working with children who have special needs, with an understanding of the importance of patience, structure, and flexibility.
Skills: Creative and mindful, able to engage the children in activities that both entertain and support their emotional and physical well-being.
Work Ethic: Adaptable and safety-conscious, with a proactive approach to managing the children's needs and household tasks.
Personality: Patient, enthusiastic, and understanding, with the ability to connect with each child's unique personality and provide the support they need to thrive.
Consistency: The family values routine and is looking for someone who can provide stable and reliable support, becoming an integral part of their daily lives.
Qualifications:
Proven Experience: Extensive experience as a nanny or family assistant, particularly with children who have special needs. Preference for candidates who have successfully managed diverse and sometimes challenging family dynamics.
Creative & Adaptive: Skilled in developing and implementing creative activities that are tailored to the unique personalities and developmental needs of each child.
Patient & Empathetic: A patient and empathetic approach, with the ability to provide consistent guidance and support, especially in situations where children may struggle with boundaries or instructions.
Safety-Conscious: Strong understanding of child safety, with a commitment to maintaining a secure environment for the children at all times.
Reliable & Professional: Dependable and professional, with a caring and supportive approach that blends seamlessly into the family's daily life.
Organized & Time-Efficient: Able to manage time effectively, balancing childcare responsibilities with light household tasks, while ensuring that each child's needs are met.
Flexible: Willingness to adapt to changing schedules, including occasional morning availability, extended hours, and the flexibility to respond to the family's needs as they arise.
