We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate individual to join our child care team. This person will work alongside the child care teacher(s) to create a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment where parents feel confident leaving their children for the day. You will contribute to fostering an atmosphere that sparks curiosity, challenges children's physical and cognitive development, and supports their journey of self-expression. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Completion of 15 hours of early childhood education training within the first six months of employment, and annually thereafter (pro-rated for part-time employees) Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with teachers in various classrooms, providing support based on the specific needs of each age group. Assist in daily activities, including cleaning, organizing, and ensuring the environment is conducive to learning and play. Build rapport with children and families, becoming familiar with each child's needs and background. Follow all policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
