After School Program Teacher Aide (Ages 5 to 12) The primary role of the School Age Teacher is to provide a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for children ages 5 to 12. This role includes assisting in creating educational, recreational, and social activities that foster the development of children while maintaining a structured and enjoyable atmosphere. The teacher aide will encourage positive social interactions, promote learning, and facilitate growth in areas such as independence, teamwork, and problem-solving. Hours: 12 p.m. - 6 p.m. (Floating in various classrooms from 12 p.m. - 3PM) OR 3 p.m. - 6 p.m. Responsibilities and Duties: Supervise Children. Assist in providing educational activities that create a fun and inclusive environment. Promote Positive Behavior. Communicate with Parents. Assist in the smooth operation of the after-school program or summer camp. Complete required cleaning duties. Qualifications: High School Diploma Able to lift up to 50 lbs. Pay Rate: $15. 50 - $17. 00 an hour
