Schedule: Guaranteed 40 hours per week, with flexibility for overtime, weekends, overnights, and travel as needed. The schedule will evolve based on the family's needs, and they look forward to settling on a typical routine that works well for all parties.
Compensation: $35-40/hour

A private and welcoming family in Pittsford, NY, is seeking an experienced, nurturing, and dependable nanny to join their household. This role focuses on caring for the oldest child, with occasional care for the family's 1-year-old. Assisting with household management tasks to ensure the family's day-to-day life runs smoothly will be expected and appreciated. Flexibility for weekends, overnights, and domestic and international travel as needed will be essential, as will maintaining a high level of discretion and confidentiality.This family has multiple residences, and their nanny will accompany them to properties in Pittsford, Canandaigua, and Florida throughout the year.
The ideal candidate will create a safe, stable, and structured environment while fostering the children's development through age-appropriate activities, such as educational games, arts and crafts, outdoor play, and outings. In addition to childcare, the nanny will assist with light household tasks, meal preparation, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the children's spaces. Managing the children's calendar, arranging appointments as needed, and providing regular updates to the parents about the children's progress, activities, and any concerns will also be key responsibilities.
This role includes transporting the oldest child to and from school, activities, and appointments, as well as providing emotional support and modeling positive social behaviors. Additional responsibilities include running errands, grocery shopping, child-related laundry, and supporting household operations as requested by the head of the household. The family has two large dogs, so comfort around animals is required. A proactive, detail-oriented individual who can adapt to the family's needs with flexibility and professionalism will thrive in this role!
Requirements:
5+ years of professional childcare experience
CPR and First Aid certified
Experience working with HNW/UHNW/HP families preferred
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Valid passport and flexibility with travel
Deep understanding of maintaining professional boundaries in the family's living space
Must sign an NDA as a condition of employment
