About the job
Since our third child was born and we moved from NYC to the suburbs we have really tried to slow down and simplify our life together. We value time outside, lots of play and practical work in the home and yard, cooking good food with good ingredients, art making and lots of play. Our family doesn't use screens, we don't have a television. Our parenting style aligns with Magda Gerber (RIE) and Waldorf philosophies. The schedule suggested here is a framework - we can work together with the right person to build a schedule that is suitable for everyone. Schedule will be 30-40 hours/week. Will occasionally need help through bedtime as mother works in a theater and is gone some evenings. Only personalized applications will be read and replied to, thank you.
