About the job
This lovely new family of five has had a wonderful nanny for the past six years and they are now saying good bye. The family consists of Mom, Dad and three kids, ages 7, 6, and 3. They also have a live-in AuPair and a housekeeper. They are looking for a highly experienced nanny who can run the household. Mom and Dad have very, very busy jobs and will look to you to manage all aspects of the kids' lives. In the summer, the family travels to Martha's Vineyard for 8 weeks. The nanny does not need to accompany them for the full schedule, but will look for the nanny to be there half of the time at least. The nanny must be able to drive and have a driver's license. You must be comfortable with the water and have the ability to save a life in the water, as a precaution. This position starts at $100, 110 per year with room to flex up for experienced candidates. It includes a typical set of employment benefits like PTO, Sick Time, and a MetroCard. Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. The family is happy to guarantee 55 hours/week
