A warm and loving family currently based in Union Square (soon relocating to the West Village) is seeking a full-time, long-term nanny to care for their two children: a 4-month-old baby boy and a 4-year-old girl.
Schedule and Compensation:
Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Start Date: Flexible - part-time start ASAP for transition or full-time by May/June
Pay: $30-35/hour
About the Family:
The 4-year-old attends school from 9:00 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. One parent handles morning drop-off, the nanny will be responsible for afternoon pickup.
The nanny's primary focus during the day will be caring for the infant.
The family has a large, very sweet Bernese Mountain Dog (80 lbs), though no pet care is required.
Both parents work and maintain hybrid schedules, occasionally working from home.
Their daughter will have one month off during the summer.
Ideal Candidate:
Experienced with both infants and preschool-aged children
Engaging, present, and energetic-someone who puts the phone away and is interactive with the children
Reliable, proactive, and comfortable navigating the city for school pickups
Open to starting part-time for a transition period before the mother returns to work
This is a long-term opportunity with a down-to-earth family who values warmth, dependability, and a genuine love for children.
