A family in Battery Park, Manhattan, is looking for a part-time, live-out nanny for their two energetic boys, ages 3 and 5 years old. The hours are Monday to Friday, 2:30 p.m. to 6:30/7 PM, with occasional additional hours when the kids have activities like swimming lessons, or if the children are off from school. The nanny will be responsible for picking up the boys from school, managing appointments, light housekeeping pertaining to the kids, organizing playdates, and preparing dinner for the kids. They are seeking someone long-term who can start ASAP. The position offers flexibility during the summer months, as the children attend camps, which may result in more hours but not full-time work, and the nanny would be operating on a similar schedule. While driving and swimming skills are not required, they are considered huge bonuses. Spanish-speaking candidates are also preferred but not mandatory. It would be a huge plus if this person is comfortable in the kitchen and can assist with cooking meals, though this is not required.
