First-time parents located in Tribeca are looking for a full-time, live out nanny for their 3-month-old son. This is a long-term position. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (40 hours/week). This position starts ASAP. Responsibilities: -Providing attentive care to the baby, focusing on developmental milestones and childhood education -Light housekeeping related to the baby, including tidying up after him and baby laundry (a housekeeper handles deep cleaning tasks) -Optional: Cooking for the baby as he begins eating solids would be a plus but is not required Qualifications: -Extensive experience caring for newborns and toddlers Strong knowledge of childhood development -Fluency in French or Spanish is a plus but not required -Ability to foster a nurturing and stimulating environment -College degree Additional Information: -No driving or swimming required -Schedule remains consistent year-round (no summer-only changes) -Very occasional travel may be requested, but is not a regular requirement Compensation and Benefits: -Rate: $30-$35/hour (gross), on the books -Overtime compensated at 1. 5x the hourly rate if you work past 40 hours/week. -MetroCard provided -Open to offering a insurance stipend
