Start: ASAP Age(s) of Child(ren): 3.5 year old and 6 month old Schedule: Tuesday and Thursday 2pm - 7pm Saturday 9am - 7pm Compensation: $35-$40 per hour Description: A warm and welcoming family in Midtown, NYC is seeking a professional and experienced part-time nanny to provide attentive care for their 3.5-year-old and 6-month-old children. Responsibilities include infant care including nap time, walks, park outings, bath time, bedtime routine, and ensuring all his needs are met as well as weekend care for both children, preparing meals, managing nap time, planning engaging activities, exploring together, serving dinner, and handling bath time. Additionally, organizing developmental appropriate activities to foster their learning and creativity. The family has a team of multiple sitters, so someone who can work as a team is essential for this role. The role also involves maintaining a clean and organized environment for the children, including tidying play areas and managing their belongings, and supporting a structured yet nurturing atmosphere. The ideal candidate is reliable, proactive, and passionate about childcare, with a strong ability to adapt to the family's needs. Their Marry Poppins The ideal candidate must be a French speaking nanny and has a perfect blend of warmth, professionalism, and reliability. Someone who is energetic, engaging, and creative, someone who can plan fun activities while maintaining a firm yet nurturing approach. They should also be comfortable occasionally caring for both children. With at least five years of professional experience, they are knowledgeable about developmental milestones and skilled at creating activities that encourage learning and growth. Safety is a top priority, and the candidate holds a valid First Aid/CPR certification, ensuring they are well-prepared to handle emergencies. Their references highlight a history of dependable and compassionate care, and their background check reflects their trustworthiness. They are non-smokers with reliable transportation and a clean driving record, further demonstrating their dependability.
