About the job
An Upper East Side family with two children ages 13 months and 4. 5 years old is looking for a long-term live-out weekend nanny. The schedule will be Friday-Sunday, 7:15am-6:15 p.m. They can also offer a full-time schedule of Wednesday-Monday. For the full-time schedule, hours can be more flexible, but Fri, Sat, Sun, would remain 7:15am-6:15 p.m. Duties will include cooking and meal preparation for the children (must be able to cook well and follow recipes), light cleaning, loading and unloading the dishwasher, and cleaning up after the kids. There are no pets in the house. Over the summer, the family lives in Southampton from Memorial Day until Labor Day weekend, and the nanny would sleep out there during work days. The ideal candidate is someone who is positive, professional, fluent in English, and able to work well on a team. Experience with babies 6+ months is required. The ability to drive is a huge plus, though not required. This position starts as soon as possible.
