A welcoming and busy family near Columbus Circle is seeking an energetic, organized, and flexible nanny to care for their 4-year-old boys who are 6 months apart and assist with household management. The ideal candidate will be a long-term addition to their family, providing stability, support, and intellectual engagement for their children. Position Details: Schedule: Monday-Friday, 50 hours per week (10-hour days). Start times may vary depending on family needs (e. g., 7:00 a.m. for school drop-off or 10:00 AM-12:00 p.m. for school pickup). Flexibility is essential as schedules may change week to week. Summer: Live-in schedule Monday-Friday in the Hamptons from Memorial Day through Labor Day Weekend. Compensation: $75, 000/year gross base salary. Total earnings (including overtime and bonuses): ~$120, 000/year gross. Responsibilities: Childcare: Provide nurturing, active, and engaging care for their 4-year-old boys. Support their intellectual and social development through stimulating activities and educational play. Assist with morning or afternoon routines, including school drop-offs and pickups. Encourage tidiness and help the children organize their belongings. Household Management: Run errands and complete household tasks during school hours. Prepare light meals and snacks for the children. Manage children's laundry and assist with light housekeeping. Collaborate with another nanny (Wednesday-Friday) and provide seamless support to the family. Additional Information: Travel: Willingness to travel both internationally and domestically is required. The family typically travels one long weekend per month during winter, spring break, and Christmas vacation. Driving: Required during summers in the Hamptons. Swimming: Ideally, the candidate is comfortable swimming. Other Family Members: Two self-sufficient stepchildren (ages 12 and 14) are in the home every other week and will require minimal (if any at all) care. Ideal Candidate: High-energy, active, and physically fit to keep up with two young boys. College-educated and able to engage the children intellectually. Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable working with changing schedules. Organized and proactive in managing tasks and household duties. Strong English speaker, with great communication skills.
