An Upper East Side family is looking for a fun, energetic nanny to assist their two girls with their after-school routine! The girls are 9 and 7. The shifts will be on Mondays through Thursdays from 2:15-6:30 p.m. The perfect fit will have the flexibility to work late on some nights and on days off of school with plenty of notice (which makes the position end up being on average 20 hours per week/80 hours per month). Standard duties of this position pertain to safely getting the girls to and from their activities, homework help, helping coordinate playdates, cooking for the kids (not required, but a huge plus), cleaning up after the kids, and handling the evening routine. The girls go to school and the nanny would be responsible for picking both up. Most activities are in the neighborhood as well. The family is away all summer and doesn't need any help, but the perfect fit is welcome to come back for recurring school years. The ideal candidate is organized and proactive. The home is pet-free and both parents work outside of the home. This position starts in January.
