A dynamic and energetic family relocating to Hudson Square from Singapore is seeking a full-time live-in nanny to care for their two high-energy children, ages 4 and 2. This position begins on December 30, 2024, with an initial commitment of 3-6 months and the potential for a longer-term arrangement. Schedule: -Monday-Friday, 7 AM-7 p.m. Some Saturdays required. -Flexibility for occasional travel, both domestic and international, is essential. Responsibilities: -Provide engaging, age-appropriate care with a focus on fostering a love for learning and creativity through activities. -Assist in the children's learning, particularly supporting their -Spanish language development. -Plan and implement stimulating activities that encourage the children's intellectual, social, and emotional growth. -Encourage healthy routines, including limited screen time (early mornings and before bedtime only). -Manage very light housekeeping and meal preparation tasks for the children, as additional household staff will be hired for cleaning and cooking. -Travel with the family during summers and other trips, with all expenses covered. Requirements: -High energy and a passion for working with children. -Bilingual in Spanish. -Background in teaching or early childhood education strongly desired. -Creative, organized, and proactive, with excellent manners and respect for family dynamics. -Able to maintain a clean and organized environment, reflecting the family's values. -Comfortable living in close proximity to the family, with a private bedroom and bathroom provided in their home. The family may be living in a hotel at the start of the position, in which case the nanny will have their own room. Additional Details: -No driving required (the family will hire a chauffeur). -No swimming required. -No pets in the home. -Summer schedule remains consistent, though the family typically travels more during this time. -The mother is a stay at home mom, and she will be around during the day.
